Struggle Is Your Success (SIYS) was not born in comfort it was forged in fire. It did not begin in a boardroom or through polished strategy decks. It began on a basketball court under the lights, through sweat, loss, and unrelenting grit. After a bruising, hard fought game, a young Musap “Moose” Abdel shouted words that would one day become a  movement: “Struggle is my success.”

Those words were not motivation, they were survival. Behind every rebound, every missed shot, every late-night practice was a young man fighting battles far beyond the scoreboard from the trauma of displacement to the weight of failure, rejection, and loss. As Moose journeyed across continents from Sudan to Saudi Arabia, Kenya to Canada, he saw the same spark in the eyes of youth everywhere: resilience born from necessity. In the streets of Africa, he watched young people build side hustles, sell lemons, and create opportunity out of scarcity. One day, he picked up a small black rock jagged, unpolished, yet full of potential and saw himself reflected in it. Under immense pressure, rocks become diamonds. That moment became a symbol, and later, the heartbeat of a movement.
