Musap 'Moose' Abdel

Founder - President & CEO

Musap “Moose” Abdel is a visionary entrepreneur, community leader, and changemaker whose work bridges technology, education, and social impact. He is a two-time ASTech Award finalist in the category of Innovation and Social Impact, recognized for advancing equitable access to technology and transformational youth programming in Alberta. 

He is the Founder & CEO of Struggle Is Your Success (SIYS), a non-profit that has empowered over 450 youth—particularly BIPOC, newcomer, and justice-involved young people through entrepreneurship, mentorship, and innovation. Under his leadership, SIYS has reduced youth recidivism while cultivating inclusive leaders who are breaking cycles of marginalization and building pathways to opportunity. 


Beyond SIYS, Moose is the Founder and Managing Partner of QA Enterprises, an AI consultancy helping businesses streamline operations, boost productivity, and innovate through intelligent solutions. He is also the Founder of Mini Techies, an ed-tech platform that teaches youth STEM and AI through gamified learning, supported by a parental dashboard that tracks learning progress. Through these ventures, Moose is shaping the future of business and education by integrating cutting-edge technology with human centered design.

A Harvard Business School–certified strategist in Design Thinking and Disruptive Strategy, Moose leverages over a decade of IT and leadership experience to deliver bold solutions that challenge the status quo. He serves on multiple boards, including the Calgary Police Service Anti-Racism Action Committee (ARAC) and the Black Advisory Council for the Government of Alberta, a provincial board to which he was appointed by the Office of Premier Danielle Smith. He is also an award-winning community builder recognized for his commitment to Justice, Equity, Accessibility, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEADI). 

Driven by resilience and purpose, Moose continues to pioneer initiatives that reduce barriers, drive innovation, and empower the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers. 

He serves on several influential boards, including the Calgary Police Service Black Advisory Board, where he is the Co-Chair, for the Black Diversity Portfolio and the Government of Alberta’s Black Advisory Council a provincial appointment made by the Office of Premier Danielle Smith.

 

An award-winning community builder, he is widely recognized for advancing Justice, Equity, Accessibility, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEADI). His leadership and innovation were further celebrated when his initiative, Moose, was named Alberta Change Maker in the Early Career category for Community-Centered Design & Innovation at the ASTech Awards, honoring excellence in science and technology leadership across the province 2025-2026.
