Dream It. Plan It. Build It. Financial & AI Literacy Edition

Dream it Build it Plan it
BIPOC Youth

Building financially confident, digitally capable and future-ready youth.

This five-week program equips youth and young adults — with a strong focus on at-risk, underserved, newcomer, BIPOC and equity-deserving youth — with practical skills in financial literacy, AI literacy, entrepreneurship and personal development.

Participants learn how to manage money, budget, save, understand credit and debt, explore entrepreneurship, and use artificial intelligence safely and effectively for education, employment, business and everyday life.

Through hands-on activities, mentorship and real-world learning, participants build the confidence, knowledge and practical tools needed to make informed decisions and create stronger pathways toward their future.

Why It Matters

Many at-risk and underserved young people face barriers to financial education, technology, employment opportunities, mentorship and professional networks.

At the same time, they are entering an economy where financial knowledge, digital literacy and AI skills are becoming increasingly important.

This program helps close those gaps by providing accessible, practical and culturally responsive learning that connects youth to knowledge, mentors, technology and opportunity.

Why Funders Should Invest

Dream It. Plan It. Build It. – Financial & AI Literacy Edition is designed to address gaps that can disproportionately impact at-risk and underserved youth, including limited access to financial education, emerging technology, mentorship, career exposure and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Funding helps remove barriers and creates equitable access to skills that can influence a young person's long-term economic and social outcomes.

The program creates measurable impact across financial inclusion, digital equity, workforce readiness, youth development, entrepreneurship, prevention and community belonging.

Funders are helping youth achieve outcomes such as:

  • Greater financial confidence and independence

  • Increased financial and AI literacy

  • Improved employment and workforce readiness

  • Increased access to technology and emerging opportunities

  • Stronger entrepreneurship and career awareness

  • Improved critical-thinking and decision-making skills

  • Greater connection to positive mentors and community supports

  • Increased confidence, resilience and sense of belonging
